The AGA Shop, Thame, offers everything the AGA owner could possibly need. You don’t even need to own an AGA to enjoy our wide selection of cookware and giftware items, as their appeal is universal and will adorn any kitchen. So next time you’re in the area, feel free to come in and browse around. What makes our showroom so special is that we have many appliances on show in a range of various colours, featuring a live AGA and Rayburn, which are regularly used to produce some of the mouthwatering recipes taken from Mary Berry’s books and many others. Among our display of cookers we also feature the AGA Side by Side Refrigerator, as well as the AGA conventional range cookers; S Series and Masterchef. We are expecting a wider range of AGA woodburning stoves. At present we have the Little Wenlock on display.

THAME FOOD FESTIVAL: Saturday 25th September 2010

Great for a relaxing atmosphere with al fresco dining either outside the Town hall or outside one of the cafes in Buttermarket. Celebrating local food and all Thame has to offer as a historic market town.
For more information about the show, please click here.
Cupcake vs. Whoopie The AGA Shop will be holding 2 workshops during The Food Festival. We are challenging the new idea that the Whoopie pie is more delicious than the original cupcake. Whoopie pies originated in the US amongst Amish communities. The name came about as children opening their lunchboxes would shout 'Whoopie!' if the pie was included. It must have a marshmallow filling to be a true whoopie.
We will be making batches of both for attendees to decorate and/or fill. We will take a vote as to the overall favourite. First session: 11:30am Second Session: 1:30pm
Places are restricted as we have limited space in the food preparation area so please arrive early to avoid disappointment. As there is no baking involved and this is only about decorating and filling the cakes it is suitable for children that can reach the table top. Probably 5/6yrs+. Also suitable for adults.
Each workshop will run for about 60 minutes and will be FREE. Donations welcomed for Helen & Douglas House collection box.
Thame Show 2010 Hayley, Julie and Ed (the dog) at the end of a very long but successful day at The Thame Show. Many thanks to all of our visitors and supporters of the event. It was a beautiful day and the new Saturday date saw a much bigger crowd.
AGA brand Ambassador, James McIntosh, tried his best to keep up with the demand for quiche and sticky sausages. We couldnt get the traybakes out of the AGA fast enough! The prize Draw was won by a delighted Mrs Oldfield of Long Crendon who has collected her Duck Egg Blue set and now needs an AGA to match! Our little stand was busy all day. Ed was the main attraction and his water bowl attracted many doggie friends. Thanks also to our Project Sales Manager, Garry who was flat out with tecnical enquiries for most of the day. We look forward to next year.
