THE AGA SHOP GRANTHAM
We are one of the newest additions to the growing number of AGA Showrooms around the UK. You can be sure of a warm welcome by our team; Rachel, Opal and Lesley. We are here to help you with any AGA queries you may have - from a baking dish to an AGA. You will often find us baking and cooking various goodies and the kettle is always on.

Our Project Manager Grant, will come to you and give advice on the practicalities involved in installing an AGA. With over 20 years experience in AGA's there are not many AGA related questions he can't answer! Please note this is a free service.

Demonstrations
We regularly hold in-store events and demonstrations on our live 4 oven gas AGA. You can see our cookery demonstration schedule at the top of the page.
Our Day in the Life of an AGA demonstrations are fantastic whether you are completely new to the AGA or just want to brush up on your Aga skills. This class will provide a wide range of cooking techniques on an AGA, including breakfast, lunch (mmm that AGA Sunday Roast), supper and baking. It will demonstrate the versatility of these unique cookers.
We also run a fantastic selection of themed demonstrations. Ranging from Curry in a Hurry to Preparing for Christmas there is a demonstration available to suit all tastes. These dems are wonderful for providing us with some inspiration (which we all need at times). Go on cook something different today.......
Baking This Month
At the Grantham AGA shop this month we will be making Fresh Cream Rum Truffles, with and without the rum. Come to the showroom and sample these delights. This recipe can be found in The AGA Book by Mary Berry along with other delicious AGA recipes.

Grantham Gingerbreads
100g or 12 oz butter or marg
350g or 12oz of caster sugar
1 egg beaten well
250g or 9oz of self-raising flour
1 tsp ground ginger
Quarter tsp of lemon essence Optional
Cream the sugar and the butter together until pale and fluffy.
Slowly mix in the egg.
Sift the flour and ginger in till a stiff dough is formed.
Roll into balls between the size of a large marble and a golf ball.
Put on to a tray leave plenty of room between each one as they spread out.
Bake in baking oven half way. For between 30 and 35 mins.
They rise up and become hollow and they are very pale almost white.
Butter is better than margarine as it tastes better. The lemon is optional.
The biscuits should have a crispy top and a chewy bottom.

RESTORE allows to to upgrade the exterior of your AGA to make it look like new! We can change the domes, the black top or you can change the colour to suit your décor
RENEW allows you to trade in your existing AGA against a new model. Your existing AGA will be recycled and will form part of a new one. Indeed, over 70% of an AGA comes from recycled material.

DIRECTIONS
Just out of the centre of Grantham, we are well worth a visit and you can find us on the Alma Park Industrial Estate just off Alma Park Road with plenty of free car parking outside
From the West and North:
Drive into Grantham on the A52 and follow the signs to the Hospital. After passing the Jet Service Station on your right, turn right at the next set of traffic lights signposted to Alma Park (this turning is about 200 yards before the Hospital). After approx. 2 miles turn right into Alma Park Industrial Estate – we are to be found in Warren Way which is the first turning on the right.
From the South:
Turn right off the A1 up the B6403. After approx 8 miles go straight over the ‘Old Somerby’ roundabout onto the A52. After approx. 300yds turn left back onto the B6403 towards Ancaster. Take the 1st left signposted to Alma Park. At the bottom of Harrowby Hill turn right into Alma Park. After approx. ½ mile take a left into Warren Way where you will see the Aga Shop.
From the East:
From the A52 turn right onto the B6403 and follow directions as above.
