Aga Demonstrator and Author wins prestigious cookbook prize

James McIntosh, one of our esteemed Aga demonstrators has recently been awarded the prestigious Gourmand Cookbook award for Best UK Series Cookbook, for his groundbreaking book ‘mix.’

This year there were approximately 6000 – 8000 entries.  Edouard Cointreau, president of the Gourmand World Cookbook Awards, says that ‘Mix’ really stands out from other entries: “We selected ‘mix.’ because of its innovative concept that really helps the readers with practical, easy recipes.”

James will now qualify for the Gourmand Best World Cookbook award, which is set to be announced in May 2009 at the annual Gourmand gala dinner.  This award is set to confirm James McIntosh as the new face of food for 2009.
